AWRT 25 Women to Watch in Sales and Marketing 2009

Tasha Coats, founder and principal of Plymouth, Minnesota-based Coats Media Services, has been named one of the 25 Women to Watch for 2009 by American Women in Radio & Television (AWRT). The list spotlighted a select group of accomplished women from all facets of electronic media including radio, television, cable and web-based media.

AWRT interim President Sylvia Strobel said, “AWRT is proud to showcase these exceptional women in our upcoming issue of Making Waves. Their impressive individual and collective accomplishments make them truly ‘women to watch’.”

BRYN ATHYN COLLEGE

Philadelphia American Marketing Association

Bryn Athyn College was named Marketer of the Year by the Philadelphia American Marketing Association.

The award was given based on the entire campaign for this year including the web site redesign, viewbook, billboard campaign, tag line and other collateral as well as the outcomes of increased applicants and other metrics.

Some of the other nominees were Comcast, Rita's Water Ice, Aramark, Drexel, ING Direct and Dupont.

Coats Media Services did the Media Planning and Buying.

Tasha Coats, President of Coats Media Services, has been named to Cambridge's Who's Who among Executives, Professionals and Entrpenuers for 2008-2009.

25 Women Who Rule In Sales & Marketing

Tasha Coats, President of Coats Media Services, was nominated for AWRT's 25 Women Who Rule in Sales & Marketing. AWRT members and industry leaders were asked to submit nominations for the list. The compiled list was then sent to AWRT members for the vote. The top 25 vote-getters were deemed the "Women Who Rule in Sales & Marketing."

2007 Diamond Awards

Tasha Coats, President of Coats Media Services, was awarded the 2007 Diamond Award for Media Supervisor of the Year. The Diamond Awards recognize and reward those people who represent excellence in media. TCMN's mission is to advance the impact of women in the electronic media and allied fields by educating, advocating, and acting as a resource to our members and the industry. Also nominated from Coats Media Services: Stephanie Stoll, Media Buyer of the Year; Tasha Coats, TCMN Member of the Year, and Katie Trouten, Support Staff Person of the Year and TCMN Member of the Year.
